One of the most requested Edwardian impressions is their W.W.1 recruitment post.

As the demand for more troops increased recruiting posts were a common site in Britain during the Great War.

In this living history display visitors will see a collection of WW1 artefacts and are given a briefing on what to expect while serving in the British army.

To complement the WW1 recruiting post Harry & Edna give the younger visitors a chance to dress as a solider and receive their enrolment paperwork into His Majesties forces.

Harry & Edna create their WW1 recruiting post they usually feature a vintage gramophone playing period tunes set in a 1900 office display which includes a typewriter. Something many younger visitors have never seen.

The WW1 recruiting post also acts as a great back drop for their various scenarios including "
Pack up your Kitbag" or "Bang on Target"  a scenario based on military target practice and has a wow factor which event organisers are looking for.
