Although Harry and Edna are well known for their WW1 and WW2 impressions, they are equally passionate about portraying the post war era (1940s ~ 1950s).
They are regular participants at 1940 ~ 1950s swing concerts and festivals. They especially look forward to attending the annual Goodwood Revival motor racing festival.
The Goodwood Revival event gives Harry and Edna a chance to change from their usual austere 1940s clothing and dress in their more flamboyant 1950's outfits.
When Harry and Edna's are at the Goodwood Revival they remain in character for the whole event interacting with the visitors. Their 1940s/50s household artefacts display has proved to be very popular with Revival visitors.
This gives Harry and Edna an excellent opportunity to expand the popular wartime kitchen display with the 'new' domestic labour saving devices of the 1950s kitchen.
While Harry & Edna engaged with the public about the post war kitchen display you can imagine their surprise when their visitors included Dame Vera Lynn, Nicolas Lyndhurst and Ian Lavender.
