One of Harry & Edna's favourite parts of the world is the National Trust Needles Old Battery where they have performed a variety of re-enactment scenarios and lectures.
As well as the gun battery, the Needles Old Battery has a number of tunnels and underground bunkers and is the location of some fascinating history which Harry & Edna exploit in their re-enactment scenarios.
A good example is when Harry performs part of his Home Guard impression anti aircraft gun drill on the spot where Britain's first anti aircraft gun was located. Harry also drills the young visitors on the parade ground .
Edna uses one of the underground rooms as a base to give her presentations on the British home front.
This permanent exhibition is one of a number of commissions Harry & Edna have undertaken on behalf of the National Trust.
Other examples include historical advisors & supplying of artefacts for Hughenden Manor and event management at Stowe Landscaped Gardens.
