The Sunday Times were interested in the anomaly that although Harry & Edna live in a modern house, in the modern city, but their home would not look out of place in the 1940s.
Harry & Edna explained they started collecting 20th Century artefacts in the late 1990s and by 2000 they did not have enough room for everything, so they started getting rid of the modern items and started using the vintage artefacts on a daily basis.
Their home is still very much a 'work in progress', time, money and simply finding the right objects (which can take forever) means it is a slow project and yes hidden away you will find a television, washing machine and fridge.
