Christmas is a special time for Harry & Edna. During the festive season Edna seasonally adapts her wartime kitchen 'show & tell' talk. Her talk starts with the relatively peaceful Christmas of 1939 & describes how Christmas celebrations changed as war progressed.

The talk highlights how despite the hardships the British public were determined to celebrate Christmas and shows how food remained important to the wartime Christmas. Edna has also a school educational workshop based on the wartime Christmas.

Harry & Edna have been fortunate to have been asked to portray Christmas during the 1940's at museums & historical venues on a number of occasions. During these festive recreations they invite visitors to help them create 'make do & mend' Christmas decorations. They also keep this vintage Christmas theme in their interpretation of a
Dickens of a Christmas.
