Edna's Educational Workshops

Harry & Edna's
Past Events

Edna has developed a series of related craft activities and educational workshops aimed at children. This allows the event visitors to find out about the evacuation of children, the threat of air raid raids and rationing.

Harry & Edna often attend events with their own children and the event visitor can see them play with child safe reproduction toys which would have entertained children 60 years ago.  It is fascinating that in an age of computer games and advertised consumerism, making a paper hat out of newspaper can still engage and entertain.

Christmas is also a special time for children and Harry & Edna are often invited to attended  child themed
wartime Christmas  events.
