The Children's War

Children living on the home front in Britain during the Second World War had to cope with shortages of food, clothing and even toys.

Harry & Edna have developed a series of related craft activities,
educational workshops & re-enactments aimed at children.

Harry & Edna have published the video clip opposite to demonstrate how they portray the enjoyment of being a child in the 1930s / 40s by including outdoor games like croquet and cycles with indoor board games & safe reproduction period toys.

For this particular event Harry & Edna combined their
evacuation dispersal post with the cycle through time re-enactment impressions.

The Children's War does make a refreshing change for event organisers who wish to vary their WW2 event to include children as well as military.

Older visitor enjoy reminiscing about their childhood, while today's children are able to relate to children from WW2.
